For the first time in no less than four seasons, the second stanza of the Nigerian National League (NNL) will kick off as scheduled this weekend with matches on 13th-16th May 2022.
The NNL Board has thus overcome the jinx of the last four seasons where the NNL goes on break and either fails to return or resumption is controversially delayed to the frustration of club owners , players and supporters for different reasons .
Regarded as the ” Most Important league” in Nigerian football , the NNL will attempt to win more hearts with a hitch free second Stanza devoid of the controversy and drama of previous years.
