NNL Partner FRCN for Broadcast of Super Eight Playoffs

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has secured a landmark partnership with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to broadcast live commentaries of all matches in the upcoming Super Eight playoffs.

NNL Chairman, Mr. George Aluo, announced the agreement, highlighting the opportunity for Nigerians nationwide to follow the action from kick-off to the final. He commended FRCN, Africa’s largest radio network, for their role in promoting the event.

The partnership was solidified during a visit to the NNL office by Mrs. Grace Iliya, Head of Sports and Outside Broadcast at FRCN, accompanied by her team. They met with NNL’s Chief Executive, Mr. Emmanuel Attah, and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Ayo Abdulrahaman.

“I am very excited with this partnership,” Mr. Aluo stated. “For the first time in the league’s history, FRCN will air our matches live. This means football fans, even in the remotest villages, can follow the competition. Radio Nigeria’s nationwide reach allows for this incredible opportunity. I extend my sincere gratitude to FRCN’s Director General and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, and his team for their generous support of the most important league in Nigeria.”

The annual Super Eight playoff determines the NNL champion and promotes teams to the prestigious Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
