Arsenal secured a crucial victory against Brentford with a late winner from Kai Havertz, igniting jubilant celebrations at The Emirates stadium.

Despite an early setback with Aaron Ramsdale’s mistake leading to Brentford’s goal, Havertz’s header sealed the win for the Gunners, passing the pressure back to Liverpool and Manchester City in the title race.

Former Premier League midfielder Robbie Mustoe, speaking for NBC Sports, singled out Brazilian defender Gabriel Magalhaes for his standout performance.

Mustoe praised Gabriel’s aggression and emotion, highlighting his vital contribution to Arsenal’s defensive solidity.

Speaking about the Arsenal defender, Mustoe admitted he loved how aggressive and emotional Gabriel was. “Back on the emotion that I did like, was the defenders. I mean Gabriel and Saliba. Gabriel was like a man possessed. Really strong, really aggressive, high fives all over and Ben White came over as well. There’s a real sense of fight there and you’ve got to love that if you’re an Arsenal fan. It’s such an important three points but in a different way,” Mustoe said.

Gabriel, alongside fellow defender Saliba, formed a formidable defensive partnership, laying the groundwork for Arsenal’s success. Despite Ramsdale’s error, the defensive resilience shown by Gabriel and his teammates proved instrumental in securing the victory.

As Arsenal continues their impressive form, Gabriel’s passion and commitment on the pitch stand out, making him a pivotal figure in the team’s title aspirations.
